I provide samples of wedding ceremonies including a selection of vows and ring exchange ideas to help you formulate the ceremony. I also assist you in completing all the relevant legal paperwork, and offer a rehearsal should you require one. A signing table, and pen are provided, along with a PA system for music and audibility, if necessary.

The location of your ceremony is limited only by your imagination; it is your day, so make it a day that truly reflects you.

Want to elope…. Elopement style ceremonies and smaller weddings have become very popular in recent times. Many couples decide to elope to avoid the stress and pressure of planning a wedding, and of course the costs that go along with such an elaborate event. They find themselves wanting a no fuss option to declare their love and have their wedding centre around just that - their intention of just getting married – without all the bells and whistles as such; this style of wedding is the perfect option.

A naming ceremony is a non-religious celebration of the arrival of a new child. It is a way of welcoming the child and officially introducing him/her to family and friends. Naming ceremonies are appropriate for anyone, at any age. The arrival of a new baby, uniting of step or adopted children within a family, or an adult name change are all great reasons to hold a naming ceremony.

Naming ceremonies involve the important people in the child’s life – family and special friends. Parents have the opportunity to ask other adults to play a supportive role to their child through to adult life (grandparents, godparents, mentors or supporters).

A wedding vow renewal ceremony is a ceremony in which a married couple renew or reaffirm their wedding vows. The ceremonies have been popular in Italy for decades, and have existed in United States since the 1950s, but only became popular there after the 1970s. Most take place in lovely locations and are seen as a way for a married couple to renew their commitment to each other and demonstrate that the vows they took are still considered sacred. To some couples, the ceremony offers the chance to celebrate the wedding they never had. Some of the reasons couples mention for holding a vow renewal include having passed through a difficult time in their relationship, celebrating a significant anniversary, or in order have a ceremony if their original wedding had not been one.

Funerals Celebrants are becoming recognised as a means by which the family can honour their loved one in a way that enhances the personal experience; they conduct non-religious, semi-religious and spiritual funeral services. A funeral celebrant is a qualified person who officiates funeral services by planning and overseeing funeral proceedings; they are sensitive and responsive to client requests to make sure the ceremony is respectful of their preferences and beliefs.

As a funeral celebrant my aim for the funeral service to be more a ‘celebration of life’ that honours the person’s memory, who has passed away by remembering, acknowledging, and celebrating their life.

This approach places an emphasis on how the person lived their life, their personality traits, and the memories of mourners. With a funeral celebrant ceremony, the family have a sense of control over the content and will know in advance, how the ceremony will unfold, and can contribute.

I collaborate closely with families and loved ones to ensure the ceremony truly reflects the personality of the individual being honoured; each service is tailored according to the wishes of the family. It is important that each service is reflective and expressed through words, poems, music and even rituals.

If you are looking for a compassionate, caring funeral celebrant with the skills and expertise to guide your family through the funeral service process, then please contact me. I believe every life is worth honouring and should be met with meaningful tribute to their life.

Thank you so much for all that you did for us for Dad’s service. The service was exactly as we would wish and we can not express in words just how thankful we are for the wonderful job you did on the day. We have had numerous people tell us “that’s the best funeral I have ever been to” and also numerous requests for your name and how we ‘found you’. Wish we could have recorded the comments we have had on what a wonderful service you provided, in such a deeply caring, personal and respectful way.”
